      Introduction
      Welcome and Greeting: Greet guests warmly as they arrive.
      Setting: Ensure the table or setting is prepared with appropriate glassware, tools (corkscrew, wine opener), and water glasses.
      Menu Review: Briefly review the menu if wine pairings are involved.
      Temperature Check: Ensure wines are stored at correct temperatures (whites chilled, reds at room temperature).
      2. Presenting the Wine

      Approach the Table: Approach the guests confidently and respectfully.
      Introduce Yourself: Briefly introduce yourself and confirm the wine selection.
      Presenting the Bottle: Show the bottle label to the host, confirming it is the correct wine.
      Opening the Bottle: Open the bottle at the table, ensuring minimal disturbance and presenting the cork if requested (optional).
      Pouring the Host’s Sample: Pour a small amount into the host’s glass for approval.
      3. Serving the Guests

      Pouring Order: Serve ladies first, then men, proceeding clockwise around the table.
      Pouring Technique: Hold the bottle correctly by the base or stem, avoid touching the rim of the glass, and pour slowly and steadily.
      Wine Quantity: Pour about 5-6 ounces (150-180 ml) per serving, ensuring glasses are not too full.
      4. Describing the Wine

      Offer Description: Briefly describe the wine’s characteristics (e.g., varietal, region, vintage, flavor profile).
      Answer Questions: Be prepared to answer questions about the wine, such as its origin, production methods, or pairing suggestions.
      5. Pairing and Enjoyment

      Suggest Pairings: Offer suggestions for food pairings if appropriate.
      Encourage Enjoyment: Allow guests to savor the wine and enjoy their experience without rushing.
